Growing up with creativity in her surroundings pertaining to Ojibway teachings at the Sagkeeng First Nation in Manitoba. Art has always been very important aspect in Victoria Elaine's life.
With a unique eye for detail, shapes, and colour, she creates colour-inspired, eclectic, versatile paintings. She says the interest is overwhelming at times to keep up with the demand, but it's rewarding when the art work comes through. She is always up for the challenge.

Art is fun, it therapeutic, and a great way to communicate in a non-verbal sense. She says she speaks through her hands. The Art she creates is so versatile from realistic to abstract, and so are the mediums she uses. From graphite pencils to Pyrography etc. She is also involved in the Craft area of making jewellery, quilting, sewing and 3D art. She is presently enrolled at the University of Manitoba, in the Aboriginal Wellness program, and wants to be more involved with the Art Therapy aspect for healing, which is a great need, as she is also a Residential School Survivor as well. She has earned 2 diplomas in the Arts, and another as a Graphic Designer and printer. She has also studied at Martha Street Studio under master printmaker, Lynne Allen of Boston, MA. She worked through the Royal Conservatory of music in Toronto as well, with Learning through the Arts program in the school system. She also conducts Workshops pertaining to visual Arts of the Ojibway.

She presently resides in Winnipeg, Manitoba, with her husband Allen, also a Mother and Grandmother to 6 Grandchildren, 2 she has raised since birth. Creating and raising her family is very important indeed, and surrounding herself with people who share the same interests as well…
